Kärnten (Carinthia) is the southernmost Austrian state with a population of 557,773. The regions’ S3 priorities include a focus on control technology and module switching technology, information and communication technologies, sustainability technologies and materials and production technologies at the interfaces of IT. The region is involved in a number of initiatives including Pflegenahversorgung, HealtNet and Consenso.
